Full‑time Faculty Position in Psychology (Various Fields)

About the role

UNIC Athens invites applications for full‑time faculty appointments within its Department of Social Sciences. The positions cover Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Forensic Psychology, contributing to teaching, research, and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in the assigned psychology specialization.
• Develop and lead research projects, publish in high‑impact journals, and secure external funding.
• Participate in departmental governance, curriculum development, and academic committees.
• Engage with the Center for Therapy, Training and Research to provide mental‑health services and support.

Required profile

• Holder of a PhD in the relevant psychology field.
• Minimum three years of independent teaching and/or research experience.
• Eligibility to work in the European Union/European Economic Area.
• Ability to start in September 2026.
