Freight Forwarding Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Freight Forwarding Operations Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Pérama. The role oversees day‑to‑day forwarding operations across sea, road, air and other transport modes, ensuring shipments are booked, tracked and delivered in line with customer requirements and company standards. It also coordinates import and export activities, manages documentation and customs procedures, and guarantees compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily multimodal forwarding operations, including sea, road and air shipments.
• Coordinate import and export processes, handling all required documentation and customs compliance.
• Lead operational staff, resolve freight‑related issues and maintain communication with customers, carriers and partners.
• Monitor performance metrics, optimise processes and drive continuous improvement of service quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in freight forwarding and multimodal transportation.
• Hands‑on experience with forwarding and export processes, including import/export documentation.
• Proven customer‑service abilities and experience supervising logistics teams.
• Good understanding of customs procedures and international trade regulations.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Comfort with TMS/WMS or freight‑forwarding software and standard office applications.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Pérama and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant vocational training or degree in logistics, supply chain, business or a related field (preferred).
