Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will join Thenamaris' Finance team to support internal reporting and expense analysis. You will work closely with multiple departments and have direct exposure to senior management, helping the company make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse internal reports, focusing on running and administrative expenses.
• Coordinate with relevant departments during the annual budgeting process and quarterly reviews.
• Maintain and update the financial planning tool.
• Support various financial processes as required by the Finance Manager.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide insights to the Management Team.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or an MBA is a strong asset.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in a finance role, preferably in shipping or a multinational environment.
• Experience with planning and reporting systems; SAP experience considered an asset.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, attention to detail and result‑oriented approach.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.
• Advanced PC literacy, especially MS Office and Excel.
