Electrician – Hotel Engineering

About the role

The Electrician joins the Engineering Department of a Luxury Collection hotel in Athens, ensuring that all electrical systems and related facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in line with brand standards. This full‑time position focuses on preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and support for guest requests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve electrical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures and building management systems.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical installations and control mechanisms.
• Assist with basic repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems when needed.
• Maintain engineering inventory, requisition parts, tools, and supplies.
• Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Communicate daily maintenance activities and outstanding issues to subsequent shifts.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and all safety requirements.

Required profile

• Proven knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, instructions and maintenance schedules.
• Familiarity with HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and general building systems.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
