Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The company seeks a Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the readiness and smooth operation of mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial plant. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, resource management, safety supervision, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for readiness and smooth operation of plant mechanical and electrical equipment, including steel processing machinery and overhead cranes.
• Supervise daily operations, schedule preventive maintenance, and intervene promptly to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural faults.
• Organize procurement of spare parts, evaluate quotes, manage inventory, and optimize maintenance costs.
• Oversee fire safety systems and electrical installations in coordination with plant management.
• Propose equipment upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
• Communicate with foreign manufacturers on technical matters.

Required profile

• University, Technological Institute or Vocational Training Center degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• State‑recognized degree with substantial relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and completed military obligations if applicable.

Required skills

• Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems such as electrical panels, motors and sensors.
• Ability to communicate in English for technical matters (written and verbal).
