Cruise Spa Nurse

About the role

Maritime & Healthcare Group is recruiting experienced Spa Nurses on behalf of its cruise line client. The Spa Nurse supports the onboard wellness team, delivers high-quality health and beauty services and ensures guest safety, satisfaction and compliance with maritime medical standards. Previous cruise ship experience in a similar role is required.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct guest consultations and pre-treatment assessments for wellness and spa services.
• Support the delivery of treatments such as IV therapies, vitamin injections, non-invasive rejuvenation procedures and wellness therapies.
• Monitor guest safety during and after treatments and coordinate with the ship's medical team when needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential guest treatment records in line with GDPR, HIPAA and company policy.
• Work with the Spa Manager on wellness programmes and guest education.
• Help run daily spa operations, including scheduling, product recommendations and workshops.
• Comply with maritime health, safety and infection control standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, valid licence in the home country (mandatory).
• At least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in wellness, aesthetic, dermatology or spa settings.
• Previous cruise ship experience as a Spa Nurse or Medi-Spa Nurse is required.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
• Valid passport, current seafarer medical certificate (or willingness to obtain it), STCW certificates, C1/D visa, Seaman's book.

Required skills

• Certification in IV Therapy, Phlebotomy or Aesthetic Nursing is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
