Credit Collection Agent

About the role

FlexCar, a car leasing company, is looking for a Credit Collection Agent to join its premises in Athens, Greece. The agent maintains good client relationships while protecting the company's profitability through efficient debt collection, using analytical, communication and negotiation skills to recover outstanding payments.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients by phone and email to resolve billing discrepancies and collect overdue payments professionally.
• Send payment reminders, follow up on outstanding invoices and negotiate payment plans while keeping a positive customer experience.
• Verify account discrepancies and resolve billing issues so payments are correctly recorded in the system.
• Generate financial statements and reports tracking accounts receivable and outstanding payments.
• Monitor overdue accounts and escalate issues to senior management when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Call Center Agent.
• Solid understanding of credit collection practices, basic accounting principles and collection regulations.
• Experience negotiating payments and handling customer objections professionally.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Data entry and a knack for numbers.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office; ERP and CRM familiarity is a plus.
