About the role

The Cook III – Pastry will join the culinary team at a luxury hotel in Athens, preparing high‑quality baked goods and pastries in line with brand standards. This full‑time position requires strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and presentation guidelines while supporting a collaborative kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Portion, chop, and store ingredients, and set up and break down work stations.
• Safely operate baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Follow food safety handling policies, personal hygiene procedures, and sanitation cleaning protocols.
• Monitor and report correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with cleaning procedures.
• Maintain uniform appearance, protect proprietary information, and follow company safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with team members and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using baking and measuring equipment safely.
• Knowledge of food safety handling policies and sanitation procedures.
