Cook (A) – Kitchen Assistant

About the role

The Cook (A) supports the Chef de Partie in delivering high‑quality dishes across a designated kitchen section. Working in a fast‑paced restaurant environment, you will help maintain standards of taste, presentation, and safety while ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food to the highest quality standards and ensure timely service.
• Assist the Chef de Partie with ingredient preparation, including meat, fish, and vegetables.
• Maintain clean and tidy workstations, following kitchen manuals, SOPs, and CERS procedures.
• Help with deliveries, restocking, and setting up workstations for operation.
• Implement HACCP, health and safety policies, and hygiene regulations.
• Participate in job‑specific trainings, team briefings, and communication meetings.

Required profile

• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Basic knowledge of all food stations and various cooking methods.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and a collaborative team attitude.
• Previous experience in a similar kitchen role and a diploma in Culinary Arts.
