Construction Supervisor

About the role

Hellas Gold is seeking a Construction Supervisor to join its Capital Projects team on the Skouries paste‑fill project in Chalkidiki, Greece. Reporting to the Pastefill Project Manager, you will ensure that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with approved documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong on‑site presence, guaranteeing safe and efficient execution of works.
• Anticipate construction risks and implement proactive mitigation measures.
• Lead daily contractor coordination, setting clear priorities and accountability.
• Monitor contractor productivity and construction KPIs (progress, quality, safety) and drive corrective actions.
• Track daily and weekly progress against the schedule, identifying critical‑path risks early.
• Develop and execute recovery plans for any identified delays, ensuring realistic 2‑week look‑ahead plans.
• Align field execution with engineering and procurement deliverables.
• Resolve field issues pragmatically, escalating to engineering when needed.
• Document and communicate site‑driven changes, ensuring compliance with IFC drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate inspections with the Quality team and prevent rework through early error detection.
• Enforce strict safety standards and lead by example to maintain high HSE performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction activities in a mining or heavy‑industry environment.
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks that could impact schedule, cost, quality, or safety.
• Strong coordination skills with contractors and internal teams.
• Excellent monitoring of productivity, KPIs, and schedule adherence.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
