CAD Operator

About the role

The International Airport of Heraklion is seeking an experienced CAD Operator to support the design and documentation of airport infrastructure projects. You will work closely with the Design Manager, engineers, and architects to produce accurate technical drawings and 3D models.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret written and verbal instructions to draft technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models.
• Use AutoCAD to create clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from sketches or notes.
• Incorporate feedback from the Design Team and maintain up‑to‑date CAD files.
• Visit project sites as needed to verify design intent and ensure compliance.
• Maintain documentation records of design iterations and decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer‑Aided Design, Engineering Technology or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience as a CAD Operator, drafter, or similar role in architecture or construction.
• Strong knowledge of project breakdown structures and design approval processes.
• Fluent in English and Greek, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (certification beneficial).
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Strong command of the MS Office suite.
