Assistant Auditor

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Auditor to join our Athens office on a full‑time basis. The role supports audit teams in planning and executing financial and compliance audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, helping ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Perform basic audit testing and help identify variances, risks, and control issues.
• Prepare workpapers and contribute to the drafting of audit reports.
• Maintain accurate audit records in line with firm methodologies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with senior auditors and communicate professionally with client personnel.
• Continuously develop knowledge of audit, tax, and advisory practices.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in accounting and auditing principles, including financial statement analysis and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; pursuit of CPA/ACCA/SOEL is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Athens, meet deadlines and adapt to a dynamic client‑focused environment.
