Art Director – Branding & Marketing

About the role

The Art Director will lead the visual and creative direction of branding and marketing projects for Food For Thought, working on‑site in the Athens Metropolitan Area. This full‑time position combines strategic thinking with hands‑on design execution across food, retail and FMCG sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the visual concept for brand identities, packaging and retail environments.
• Collaborate with brand strategists, marketers and graphic designers to ensure cohesive visual systems.
• Design key campaign assets and supervise graphic production from concept to final delivery.
• Maintain consistency across all touchpoints and review design work for quality and brand alignment.
• Provide clear creative feedback to internal teams and guide multidisciplinary design projects.
• Present creative concepts to clients, manage timelines and deliverables.
• Stay informed about design trends in food, retail and FMCG to inspire innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Strong creative direction and art‑direction skills with experience leading multidisciplinary design projects.
• Proven expertise in branding, visual identity development and brand systems for consumer products and retail.
• Advanced graphic‑design abilities and a portfolio that showcases concept development, brand identity work and integrated campaigns.
• Ability to translate strategic marketing objectives into compelling visual concepts.
• Excellent presentation, communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant experience in branding, packaging or retail design for food or FMCG sectors is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
