Architect – Design & Construction

About the role

COALArchitects is seeking a qualified Architect to join its Athens studio. You will be responsible for creating detailed design documentation and ensuring projects progress smoothly from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Create architectural plans, drawings and documentation that clearly communicate design intent.
• Develop detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Apply knowledge of materials, construction methods and engineering principles to devise effective design solutions.
• Conduct site evaluations and quality‑assurance inspections.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing recommendations throughout the design and construction phases.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in architecture and construction.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
