Trade Marketing Lead – Central East Europe (18‑month contract)

About the role

The Trade Marketing Lead will head Pet Specialty Retailing (PSR) trade marketing activities across in‑store, online and event channels for the Central East Europe cluster. This 18‑month fixed‑term position is based in Athens and operates in a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement PSR trade marketing activities to improve health outcomes and increase sales.
• Measure and analyse trade marketing results, identifying efficiency improvements.
• Drive category recommendation and growth through Joint Business Planning with customers and partners.
• Provide distinctive trade marketing assets to Sales based on competitor analysis, market trends and portfolio priorities.
• Lead and coordinate agencies, suppliers and cross‑functional teams, and manage trade marketing budgets.
• Oversee Royal Canin’s brand presence at major activations and events.
• Develop and engage the Cluster Trade Marketing team to build high performance.

Required profile

• Strong people management and leadership abilities.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
