Team Leader – RF/Analog Analysis & Characterization

About the role

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Team Leader to manage a group responsible for pre‑ and post‑silicon activities on RF, analog and PHY system circuit blocks, from transistor level up to full system integration. The role combines technical leadership, hands‑on debugging and performance optimisation to ensure competitive IC products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team (1‑2 members or matrix‑managed) through pre‑silicon problem identification and DFT planning.
• Define and implement RF/Analog driver specifications and corrective actions.
• Bring up silicon in the lab, perform debugging and performance optimisation.
• Support designers by mitigating issues and providing data‑sheet parameter analysis.
• Develop automation and tooling for analysis, debugging and data collection.
• Analyse statistical data and generate formal specification parameters.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in RF/Analog system or chip design.
• Proven ability to manage a small team or matrix‑managed environment.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, assertive and able to influence technical decisions.
