Product Development Manager

About the role

SCYTALYS, a leading defence software and systems integration company, is looking for an experienced Product Development Manager to drive the development, positioning and lifecycle management of its defence and interoperability solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive product vision, strategy and roadmap for defence and interoperability solutions.
• Translate customer and market needs into product requirements, value propositions and release plans.
• Prioritise product features and coordinate delivery milestones with engineering and technical leadership.
• Lead end‑to‑end product development activities to ensure timely delivery of market‑ready solutions.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis across defence, aerospace and security sectors.
• Support customer engagements, product demonstrations, defence exhibitions and industry events.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development on product positioning, launch activities and sales enablement material.
• Gather and assess customer feedback, operational insights and market trends to drive product improvements.
• Monitor product performance and ROI, recommending actions to maximise business value.
• Deliver product training to internal teams and customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product development, preferably in defence, aerospace or security domains.
• Ability to define product vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, technical leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills for market and competitor analysis.
• Experience supporting customer engagements, demonstrations and industry events.
• Capability to translate market needs into clear product requirements and release plans.
