Tax Advisor – Professional Services

About the role

EY’s Tax Department is seeking motivated Tax Advisors to support a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work in a collaborative, professional environment, contributing to tax certification, audit procedures, and complex tax issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax certification and audit procedures.
• Review and analyse accounting records, tax returns, and financial data.
• Prepare tax audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Provide solutions to complex tax issues.
• Perform general ledger activities and account reconciliations.
• Identify and assess tax risks.
• Use Excel and analytical tools for tax and financial data analysis.
• Collaborate closely with client Accounting, Finance and Tax teams.
• Contribute to the timely completion of engagements and client deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, banking & finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of tax or accounting principles.
• Previous experience in a Big 4 or professional services environment is a strong asset.
• Experience with tax certification projects is advantageous.
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Good command of English.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work on‑site at client premises when required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, demanding environment.
• Junior candidates: up to 2 years of relevant experience; Senior candidates: 3–5 years.
