Corporate Accountant (m/f/d)

About the role

The Corporate Accountant supports the Finance Manager and the countries within the scope, ensuring proper implementation of corporate accounting principles and local rules. The role is responsible for timely presentation of accounting information on the corporate ERP for consolidation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual group accounting and tax tasks, including GAAP to IFRS adjustments.
• Handle group consolidation in SAP, uploading intercompany positions, balance sheets, P&L and project data.
• Manage IFRS16 lease contracts, month‑end closing, posting files and reporting package checks.
• Process incoming invoices, resolve vendor issues and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare monthly Intrastat and VAT reports and coordinate tax reporting with external accountants.
• Support special projects such as SAP4H implementation and ad‑hoc requests from senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate accounting, preferably in a Big 4, energy or construction environment.
• University degree in Financial Accounting or Business Administration.
• Holder of A‑class signatory rights.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, Greek GAAP and relevant tax legislation, including transfer pricing.
• Proven experience with SAP (FS, MM, OTC) and SAP4H.
• Additional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA (at least 2/3 completed) or an MBA is an asset.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, and fulfilled military obligations.
