Store Manager – Dark Store Operations (Athens)

About the role

Wolt Market is expanding its network of dark stores in Greece and needs a dedicated Store Manager to lead one of its Athens‑area locations. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day store operations, ensuring fast and accurate grocery deliveries while maintaining product freshness and low waste.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of 2–4 Shift Leads and store staff.
  • Oversee stock management, freshness control, and order accuracy.
  • Hire, train, and provide regular feedback; conduct bi‑annual 1:1s.
  • Monitor shrink levels and implement waste‑reduction measures.
  • Manage shift schedules, incoming goods, and store inventory.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Product, and other functions to optimise product selection and delivery speed.

Required profile

  • Proven experience managing retail or warehouse teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative, fun workplace culture.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
