SEO Account Specialist – Strategic SEO Lead

About the role

As an SEO Account Specialist at Adapt, you will lead strategic SEO initiatives for a diverse portfolio of global B2B and e‑commerce clients. You will combine technical expertise with a data‑driven mindset to design, execute and optimise SEO programmes that deliver measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine comprehensive SEO strategies, including technical audits, on‑page optimisation and off‑site initiatives.
• Conduct in‑depth SEO audits to identify and resolve technical issues affecting site performance.
• Manage day‑to‑day delivery of SEO work aligned with client objectives.
• Collaborate with content, development and localisation teams to implement best‑practice SEO recommendations.
• Lead keyword research and create advanced keyword strategies for content optimisation.
• Oversee link‑building campaigns to improve domain authority and organic visibility.
• Track SEO performance, generate advanced reports and provide actionable insights.
• Stay current with algorithm updates, industry trends and emerging SEO tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of hands‑on experience in SEO.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of SEO trends, algorithm changes and best practices.
• Experience delivering measurable insights and results for clients.
• Exposure to other digital marketing channels is a plus.
