Senior Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join efood’s Security team. You will work closely with product, infrastructure and engineering colleagues to embed security throughout our platform and protect the future of online delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze software designs, implementations and infrastructure to identify security issues and design countermeasures.
• Conduct security‑centric code reviews of new and legacy applications and services.
• Engineer and implement automated security controls and reusable libraries to make secure development the easy path.
• Drive security architecture assessments and perform threat modeling for new applications and cloud services.
• Own the vulnerability management process, from triaging bug bounty submissions to coordinating remediation with engineering teams.
• Scale and enhance SSDLC and bug bounty programs to match a rapidly growing engineering organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a security engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle and cloud security.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, system architects and DevOps teams.
• Experience managing vulnerability remediation and bug bounty programs.
