Senior Procurement Category Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Category Officer to lead indirect spend categories such as IT, Marketing, HR, Facilities and professional services. Reporting to the Group Procurement Category Manager, you will act as a trusted business partner and drive cost‑saving initiatives across the Fourlis Group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities for indirect categories, including IT, Marketing, HR, Facilities and professional services.
• Provide guidance and challenge to stakeholders throughout the sourcing and contracting lifecycle.
• Conduct spend and market analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimise the supplier base.
• Run competitive sourcing processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), evaluate bids and negotiate commercial and contractual terms.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Identify, track and report cost‑savings, cost‑avoidance and value‑creation initiatives.
• Oversee contract renewals and renegotiations to ensure competitive terms and business continuity.
• Monitor procurement KPIs and deliver insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with Fourlis Group Procurement Policy and internal procedures.
• Support vendor risk management and monitor adherence to contractual obligations, code of conduct and sustainability commitments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a procurement function.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and verbal.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management skills.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Adaptability to change and ability to manage large volumes of quantitative data.
