Senior Procurement Category Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Category Officer will lead end‑to‑end procurement for indirect spend categories—including IT, Marketing, HR, Facilities and professional services—acting as a trusted business partner and driving cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for indirect categories, from spend analysis to contract award.
• Conduct market research, RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and negotiate commercial and contractual terms.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships, monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Identify, track and report cost‑saving, cost‑avoidance and value‑creation opportunities.
• Oversee contract renewals, renegotiations and ensure compliance with Group procurement policy.
• Provide KPI dashboards and insights to senior management.
• Support vendor risk management and monitor sustainability and code‑of‑conduct commitments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a procurement function, preferably with indirect spend.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
