Senior Manager – Accounting Outsourcing

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Accounting Outsourcing practice in Athens. The role combines client‑facing responsibilities with team leadership, ensuring high‑quality accounting and tax services for a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage accounting and tax compliance engagements, guaranteeing adherence to Greek GAAP, IFRS and local tax legislation.
• Coordinate a varied client portfolio while supervising a team of professionals.
• Oversee accounting operations, reconciliations and month‑end / year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare and submit tax and statutory filings accurately and on time.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise clients on relevant changes.
• Maintain client relationships, delivering practical, value‑added solutions.
• Support business development through networking, proposals and presentations.
• Develop the team by setting expectations, fostering accountability and encouraging professional growth.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounting or audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of Greek accounting standards, Greek GAAP, IFRS and Greek tax legislation.
