Senior Maintenance Engineer – Plant Operations

About the role

Elval Colour, a leading aluminium coating and colour‑matching company, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance activities at its plant in Thiva, Viotia. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement in a modern industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Lead the resolution of mechanical, electrical and automation breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment reliability, analyse downtime root causes and apply corrective actions.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and external contractors, fostering high performance.
• Participate in technical investment, modernization and equipment installation projects.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and procurement related to maintenance.
• Track maintenance KPIs and prepare technical reports.
• Promote process‑improvement initiatives to increase productivity and equipment availability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in continuous‑process sectors such as metals, chemicals or paints.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams and managing preventive‑maintenance systems.
• Strong knowledge of automation and industrial control systems.
• Excellent command of English.
