Senior Associate, Windows & VDI End Point Engineering & Support

About the role

The Senior Associate, Windows & VDI End Point Engineering & Support is a hands‑on engineering position responsible for building, deploying and supporting Pfizer’s global Windows and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment. The role ensures secure, reliable, high‑performing end‑user computing experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain Windows OS builds, provisioning workflows (e.g., Windows Autopilot), configuration policies and security baselines.
• Build and deploy application packages, manage patch and update rings using Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
• Engineer and support VDI platforms and images, handling capacity, profile management and user‑experience optimisation.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation for provisioning, remediation and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on security baselines, vulnerability remediation and compliance controls.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support, root‑cause analysis and monitor fleet health to drive proactive remediation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Windows endpoint engineering or enterprise desktop environments.
• Hands‑on experience with VDI technologies such as Citrix or cloud‑hosted virtual desktops.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and strong knowledge of endpoint security fundamentals.
