Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

About the role

Exandas Cargo is seeking a proactive Sales Executive to join its team in Piraeus. You will drive new business and nurture existing client relationships within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering tailored logistics and cargo solutions.
• Prepare quotes, proposals and negotiate rates and contract terms.
• Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts and reports.
• Represent Exandas Cargo at meetings, networking events and industry activities.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics or related transport services.
• Strong customer relationship and account management abilities.
• Solid understanding of international trade, air and sea freight, inland trucking and multimodal transport.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English.
• Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities to design cost‑effective cargo solutions.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet sales targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
