Business Development Manager – Shipping Logistics

About the role

Frontline Ltd., a Piraeus‑based freight forwarding and ship agency, is expanding its commercial function. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to generate new business and nurture existing relationships within the shipping community.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and build a pipeline of ship managers, owners, technical departments and marine suppliers for forwarding services.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including quotations and negotiations.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular check‑ins, rate reviews and handling escalations.
• Collaborate closely with operations to ensure seamless delivery and act as the client’s voice internally.
• Report on pipeline health, wins, losses and account status to management.
• Support future expansion into cross‑trade and third‑country forwarding.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales and account management experience serving shipping companies in Greece.
• Established network in Piraeus/Athens shipping offices and confidence engaging technical or purchasing departments.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Organised, self‑driven and comfortable in a small, fast‑moving team.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of air and sea freight, Incoterms and quotation building.
