R&D & Quality Control Specialist

About the role

COSMOS LAC, a leading Greek manufacturer of aerosol paints and technical chemicals, is seeking an R&D & Quality Control Specialist to join its technical team. The role blends product development, quality assurance, and regulatory documentation, offering a hands‑on environment for a professional with 2–5 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory trials and evaluate new formulations and raw materials.
• Perform quality control testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Participate in the development and improvement of aerosol paints and coatings.
• Investigate production issues, quality deviations, and customer complaints.
• Prepare, review, and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS).
• Support CLP/REACH compliance, product classification, and labeling.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong laboratory experience with analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Hands‑on, organised, and detail‑oriented approach.
