Quality Control Technician – Mechanical

About the role

ICEYE is looking for a Mechanical Quality Control Technician to ensure that all hardware used in its satellite missions meets strict space‑grade standards. The role is based in Greece and works within the Stock Management department, reporting to the Manager of Stock Management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of mechanical, composite, electronic parts, COTS items and subsystems during receiving operations.
• Update material status in the ERP/MES system based on inspection results.
• Report non‑conformances, support root cause analysis and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare accurate reports on inspection issues and provide feedback on inspection sheets and control plans.
• Maintain quarantine and scrapping procedures and ensure inspection tools are calibrated.
• Monitor logistics, production, storage and laboratory environments for safety and quality compliance.
• Participate in continuous process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanics, Quality Control, Manufacturing or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems for material tracking.
• Experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.
• Ability to calibrate and maintain inspection tools and equipment.
