Quality Control Technician – Electronics

About the role

The Quality Control Technician – Electronics ensures that all hardware used in ICEYE satellite missions meets strict quality standards. Working in the production and AIT environment, you will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Mission Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to detect defects early and maintain space‑grade compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual, electrical, and basic mechanical inspections on electronic, mechanical, COTS items and subsystems during receiving.
• Update material status in the ERP/MES system based on inspection results.
• Report non‑conformances, support root‑cause analysis and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare accurate reports on inspection issues and provide feedback on inspection sheets and control plans.
• Maintain quarantine and scrapping procedures and ensure inspection tools are calibrated.
• Monitor logistics, production, storage and laboratory environments for safety and quality compliance.
• Participate in continuous process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electronics, Quality or a related field.
• Experience with inspection activities in a manufacturing or aerospace environment is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems for material tracking.
• Ability to conduct electrical, visual and mechanical inspections.
• Knowledge of inspection tool calibration and maintenance.
• Familiarity with non‑conformance reporting, RCA and CAPA processes.
