Project Manager

About the role

Adecco HR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT and communication projects for a client in Greece. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring delivery within scope, time and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource plans.
• Develop and maintain project charters, WBS, Gantt charts and detailed schedules.
• Lead and coordinate internal departments, vendors and third‑party partners.
• Monitor and control project budgets, track progress with dashboards and allocate resources effectively.
• Identify risks early, maintain risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications through status reports and steering‑committee updates.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews, capture lessons learned and drive process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, AgilePM® or CSM are highly desirable.
• Proven experience managing remote, cross‑functional or vendor‑driven teams.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Greek) are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA or Trello.
• Strong understanding of IT domains including infrastructure, application development and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of process‑optimization frameworks like Lean, Six Sigma or ITIL.
• Ability to analyse KPIs, SLA metrics and financial forecasts.
