Operations & Maintenance Engineer – Battery Storage (Chalkidiki)

About the role

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to support its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Chalkidiki. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation, monitoring, and maintenance of photovoltaic and low/medium‑voltage equipment to maximise energy production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on photovoltaic components and low/medium‑voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, including repair, replacement, and installation of new parts.
• Secure inverter availability and meet response‑time KPIs.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly reports and schedules for electrical work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or electromechanical installations for power plants.
• Experience with international clients and solar‑market projects is desirable.
• Fluent English with strong communication and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
