O&M Technician – Battery Energy Storage System

About the role

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking an O&M Technician to support its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Larissa. The role involves flexible shift work, including 24‑hour rotations and weekends, to ensure reliable operation of photovoltaic and storage equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on photovoltaic project components, including low and medium voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, carrying out repairs, replacements, and installation of new parts.
• Secure inverter availability guarantees, response times, and other performance KPIs.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly reports and schedules for electrical work performed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement for power plants or electromechanical installations.
• Experience with international clients and solar‑market projects is desirable.
• Electrical Installation Technician License (Group 4, Specialty A).
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
