About the role
METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to support its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Larissa. The role involves rotating 8‑hour shifts, including nights and weekends, to ensure reliable energy production.
Key responsibilities
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on low and medium voltage equipment within BESS installations.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, including repair, replacement, and installation of new parts.
- Maintain inverter availability and meet defined response‑time KPIs.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly reports and schedules for electrical work.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in procurement for power plants or electromechanical installations.
- Experience with international clients and solar‑market projects is desirable.
- Electrical Installation Technician License (Group 4, Specialty A).
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of low/medium voltage equipment.
