Middle Accountant

About the role

Karlos Enterprises is seeking a motivated Middle Accountant to join its Patras headquarters. This role offers hands‑on experience with Greek tax law, financial reporting, and logistics operations, supported by senior mentors in a fast‑growing logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry and reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare financial reports and related documentation.
• Handle compliance tasks for VAT, income tax, payroll, and other tax obligations.
• Organise, archive, and maintain electronic accounting and commercial records.
• Collaborate with team members to improve internal accounting and administrative procedures.
• Learn and use ERP, accounting, payroll, and financial software systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Good understanding of Greek accounting, tax, and payroll principles.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Knowledge of Epsilon Net payroll software.
