Mechanical Technician – Day Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our day‑shift team at CROWN Hellas Can Packaging. The role involves maintaining and repairing high‑speed can‑making equipment to ensure continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on presses, bodymakers, decorators and related machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Repair, overhaul and replace components such as bearings, gears, motors, pumps and conveyor systems.
• Carry out routine inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in can packaging or high‑speed production.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Commitment to safety procedures and ability to work both independently and within a team.
