Maintenance Engineer – Field Service (Greece)

About the role

As a Maintenance Engineer at Tetra Pak you will be responsible for maintaining and installing equipment at customer sites, working closely with both customers and internal teams to ensure food safety and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across Greece to perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks of moderate complexity.
• Use the Tetra Pak Maintenance System (TPMS) to report and document service activities.
• Support and carry out on‑site troubleshooting, interpreting technical documentation and following global procedures.
• Represent Tetra Pak professionally, contribute ideas for improving customer operations and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Valid mechanical or electrical license.
• High proficiency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• 1‑3 years of maintenance experience in food processing, manufacturing or an industrial environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, primarily within Greece.

Required skills

• Automation knowledge.
• PLC programming experience (considered a plus).
• Familiarity with the Tetra Pak Maintenance System (TPMS).
