Electrical Design Engineer – Power Plant Systems

About the role

You will support the engineering, design, technical review and procurement of electrical utility systems for power plants and energy projects. The role focuses on lighting systems, cable containment, routing and related infrastructure, while ensuring technical compliance and contributing to proposal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil and other engineering disciplines.
• Support the design of lighting and emergency lighting systems.
• Assist with the design and layout of cable trays, ladders and support systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, equipment requirements and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
• Support project execution, technical compliance and proposal activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design & Production Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering roles.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Proactive and organized approach to managing engineering tasks and meeting project deadlines.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, international team.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (experience with AutoCAD MEP, Inventor or similar software is an advantage).
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
