Leisure Sales Manager

About the role

The Leisure Sales Manager is a full‑time position based in Athens, driving leisure segment revenue for the upcoming JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa. The role focuses on building and managing relationships with travel agencies, tour operators and online travel platforms while identifying new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute sales activities, prepare proposals and contracts, and maintain accurate account records.
• Collaborate with revenue management and marketing teams to optimise pricing and package offers.
• Represent the resort at trade shows, sales missions and industry events, monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
• Provide regular performance, pipeline and market feedback reports.
• Coordinate closely with on‑property operations to ensure seamless guest experiences for leisure groups and individual travelers.

Required profile

• Proven sales and sales‑management experience in hospitality or the leisure industry.
• Strong account‑management background with long‑term client relationship building.
• Knowledge of leisure‑industry distribution channels and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Greek are an asset.
• Comfort working in a pre‑opening environment with flexible priorities.
• Relevant degree in Hospitality, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of MS Office tools.
