Key Account Manager – Maritime Solutions

About the role

OneOcean is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic customer relationships within the maritime technology sector. You will act as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring satisfaction, driving renewals and identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular check‑ins and business reviews to maintain strong relationships and develop stakeholder engagement plans.
• Participate in C‑Level engagements led by the Customer Engagement Manager to align on strategic objectives.
• Qualify decision‑making processes, criteria and compelling events to advance deals.
• Assess client pain points and business impact to position appropriate solutions.
• Drive upsell and cross‑sell initiatives to increase revenue within key accounts.
• Support renewals and contract negotiations to maximise customer lifetime value.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues to demonstrate product value, develop ROI and business case proposals.
• Prepare quotes, lead pricing discussions and negotiate deals alongside sales teams.
• Work with Rev Ops and Deal Desk for contract review and approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
• Professional‑level proficiency in French and English.
• Experience in maritime technology, SaaS or service industries.
• Proven track record of managing high‑value client accounts and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration experience.
• Knowledge of the maritime sector, including crewing, training or QHSE.
• Ability to analyse client data and develop strategic account plans.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
