Junior Procurement Officer

About the role

AMCO S.A. develops smart mobility and Intelligent Transport Systems solutions for clients in Greece and abroad. We are looking for a Junior Procurement Officer to support the purchasing of materials, equipment and services needed for our projects and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Request and compare quotations from suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Monitor order status, lead times and availability of materials.
• Maintain accurate supplier, pricing and purchasing records.
• Work with technical teams to understand specifications and purchasing needs.
• Help resolve discrepancies relating to orders, deliveries and invoices.
• Identify potential suppliers and support negotiations.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or a related role.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and communicate effectively with suppliers and colleagues.
• A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field will be considered an asset.
