IT Support Specialist – Greece

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join Village Roadshow’s operations in Greece. The successful candidate will provide first‑ and second‑line technical assistance across corporate offices and cinema sites, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑line support to employees, resolving hardware, software and network issues promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain workstations, POS systems, printers and other peripheral equipment.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi and server infrastructure, collaborating with the IT Manager on upgrades.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access, ensuring data security and GDPR compliance.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, licences and warranties.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding by setting up or decommissioning equipment and accounts.
• Document recurring issues and solutions to build an internal knowledge base.
• Liaise with external vendors for repairs, upgrades and support contracts.
• Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, roll‑outs and process improvements across sites.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new tools and technologies relevant to retail and hospitality IT environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in an IT support or help‑desk role.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with POS systems and multi‑site retail/hospitality environments is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent communication in Greek and English, with the ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical staff.
