IT Support Specialist – Corporate IT

About the role

The Corporate IT Support Specialist joins Altenar’s technical support team to deliver end‑user IT services across the company’s offices in Greece and worldwide. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and networking issues, helping colleagues stay productive.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct support for Windows, macOS and UNIX workstations, troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
• Install, configure and maintain end‑user applications and peripherals.
• Manage network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP, IPv4 addressing and DNS.
• Log all incidents and changes in the ticketing system and keep documentation up to date.
• Set up new computers, perform OS and software upgrades, and handle onboarding/off‑boarding of employees.
• Procure and inventory IT equipment, ensuring stock levels and asset records are current.
• Deliver technical training to staff and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Organised, patient and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Technical diploma or equivalent in a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Clean background check.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting and peripheral support.
• Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS and UNIX operating systems.
• End‑user software installation and configuration.
• Basic TCP/IP networking, IPv4 addressing and DNS.
• Familiarity with IT security concepts.
• Experience with collaboration tools and cloud‑based platforms.
