IT Project Manager – Infrastructure & Digital Workplace

About the role

Active, a leading ICT company, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of technology projects in Athens. You will oversee infrastructure, digital workplace, DaaS and Managed Services initiatives from planning through implementation and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, resource coordination, testing, acceptance and handover.
• Lead IT infrastructure, networking and datacenter projects, including multi‑site deployments, equipment upgrades and migrations.
• Oversee Digital Workplace, Device‑as‑a‑Service (DaaS) and Managed Services projects such as device roll‑outs and service desk transitions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams of engineers, technicians, service desk staff, vendors and subcontractors.
• Act as primary client contact, providing progress updates and supporting steering committee meetings.
• Track SLAs, KPIs and contractual commitments, ensuring quality and deadline compliance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, testing and formal acceptance procedures.
• Support budget planning, monitor delivery costs and contribute to pre‑sales activities.

Required profile

• University degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in IT project management or technology project delivery.
• Proven ability to manage projects throughout their lifecycle and coordinate multiple workstreams.
• Good understanding of modern IT environments, including networking, infrastructure, endpoints, cloud technologies and IT services.
