iOS Team Lead – Mobile Infrastructure

About the role

As an iOS Team Lead within Mobile Infrastructure, you will define the mobile strategy, mentor your team, and enhance developer experience, architecture, and CI/CD tools. You will foster collaboration and continuous learning to empower engineering teams delivering global products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of iOS engineers, creating a high‑performance environment.
• Own execution of the iOS Infrastructure technical roadmap, ensuring platforms, tooling, and shared components enable rapid feature delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews to maintain software quality and best practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions such as modularization, dependency injection, and build tooling.
• Collaborate with product managers, principal engineers, Android, backend, and test teams to provide the tools and foundations needed for effective delivery.
• Support complex problem‑solving, troubleshoot issues, and mentor team members for skill growth.
• Continuously evaluate and improve development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Identify and mitigate project and technical risks proactively.

Required profile

• 3+ years in a formal leadership or team‑management role, handling career development and performance reviews.
• Proven experience as an iOS engineer with successful mobile development projects.
• Strong expertise in Swift and deep understanding of iOS frameworks, build systems, and design patterns.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, mobile architecture, and app scalability.
• Experience with version control (Git) and project‑management tools (Jira/Confluence).
• AI‑first mindset, actively leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and decision‑making.
