Integration Facilitator – Independent Living Support

About the role

The Integration Facilitator will support beneficiaries of international and temporary protection in Thessaly, Greece, helping them integrate into Greek society through employability, language, and independent‑living activities. The role reports to the Regional Coordinator (Thessaly) and the Project Team Lead (Integration and Independent Living).

Key responsibilities

• Provide information to eligible beneficiaries and enrol them in the Helios+ project.
• Monitor integration progress through individual sessions and conduct presentations on the European way of life.
• Organise psychosocial support sessions and inform beneficiaries about social‑welfare rights, housing, healthcare and education.
• Make referrals to specialised actors and coordinate with project units, authorities and other partners.
• Evaluate exemption requests for Greek‑language courses and ensure accurate data entry and archiving.
• Visit reception facilities to present the project and enrol eligible residents.
• Assist beneficiaries in searching for apartments and completing administrative requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• University degree in psychology, social work or a related field (minimum three years of experience); a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional licence required for social workers and psychologists; experience in multicultural environments preferred.
• Fluency in English and Greek (oral and written) is mandatory.
• Valid driver’s licence with at least five years of driving experience is an advantage.
