HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, organised HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing software engineering and cybersecurity team in Greece. This hands‑on position combines recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, and team development to ensure a professional and positive experience for candidates and employees alike.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: write job descriptions, publish vacancies, screen candidates, coordinate interviews and support final selections.
• Maintain candidate pipelines using Workable and other recruitment platforms.
• Conduct initial HR interviews, evaluating experience, communication skills, motivation and cultural fit.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring all employment documentation and records are up‑to‑date.
• Handle employment contracts, payroll inputs, benefits and liaise with accountants and legal advisers.
• Support the continuous improvement of HR policies, employee handbooks and internal guidelines.
• Assist managers with performance reviews, goal setting, employee development and feedback.
• Monitor employee engagement, identify workplace concerns early and support training and team‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in HR, recruitment, talent acquisition or people operations.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes and assess candidates consistently.
• Strong understanding of Greek employment practices and labour legislation.
• Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and work independently while prioritising multiple tasks.
