Financial Controller – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Controller to join Zephiros Energy Services, a fast‑growing renewable‑energy company in Greece. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financial planning across our portfolio of renewable‑energy assets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and reporting packs
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across projects and entities
• Monitor cash flow, project profitability, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes
• Support financial analysis for investment, acquisition, or asset management decisions
• Collaborate with asset management and operations teams to track KPIs
• Develop dashboards and financial reporting tools (Excel / BI systems)

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• 3–6+ years of experience in financial controlling, audit, or corporate finance
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or asset‑heavy industries is a strong plus
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entities/projects
• Fluent in Greek and English

• ERP systems (SAP, Pylon, etc.)
• Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
